Since 2021, the tour has focused on songs from Dylan's 2020 album, Rough and Rowdy Ways, with him and his band performing nearly every song from the record. Over the summer, Dylan changed things up for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour alongside Willie Nelson. For those shows, Dylan's setlist dropped most of the Rough and Rowdy Ways songs in favor of songs like 'All Along the Watchtower' and 'Things Have Changed.' He also tossed in surprising covers of blues classics and Grateful Dead songs just to keep fans on their toes. The spring 2025 shows will also be Dylan's first since the successful release of A Complete Unknown. Director James Mangold's film features Timothée Chalamet as Dylan and tracks his early years in New York City, leading up to the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. A Complete Unknown scored eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Chalamet, 29, and Best Director for Mangold. Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro earned nominations for their supporting performances as Pete Seeger and Joan Baez, respectively. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Dylan went on to advise his fans to read Elijah Wald's Dylan Goes Electric!, the book that Mangold and Jay Cocks' Oscar-nominated script is based on. 'It's a fantastic retelling of events from the early '60s that led up to the fiasco at Newport,' Dylan wrote. 'After you've seen the movie read the book.' 'Floored. I am so grateful,' Chalamet replied. 'Thank you Bob.' A Complete Unknown is now in theaters. Read the original article on People
