Rangers star 'agrees' to leave Ibrox after just one season
The 31-year-old Dutch defender is said to have "agreed" to return to his homeland, according to sources in the Netherlands.
He was signed by Philippe Clement last summer from FC Twente as Connor Goldson's replacement.
Propper has faced criticism for his performances, partly due to injuries, and the Scottish league's pace and physicality.
He did, however, manage to make 39 appearances across all competitions and scored twice, including in a 3-0 victory over Celtic at Ibrox.
TwenteFans reports that Propper has reached an agreement to return to his former club, Twente, although a fee is not mentioned.
He is contracted at Ibrox until the summer of 2028.
The site suggests that Propper will sign a three-year contract with the Eredivisie side.
His departure would mean new head coach Russell Martin, who was unveiled yesterday, will have an immediate task in shaping his squad.
The former Southampton boss will start working with the team ahead of their pre-season return later this month.
