Harvey's 97th minute penalty took Truro's goal difference to +30, two ahead of Torquay's tally of +28. Jack Spong gave the Rebels the lead on 42 minutes, only for Alfie Rutherford to equalise for Wanderers shortly after the interval. Third placed Eastbourne, meanwhile, won 1-0 at Salisbury yesterday, meaning they and Worthing are both one back from Truro and Torquay on 85 points apiece. "At the start of season if you said you need to win your last home game to possibly win the league we'd have all taken it." Torquay boss Paul Wotton, who left Truro for the Gulls last year, said: "We had a perfect start and I thought the first 15 minutes we were electric. "I think that's our seventh clean sheet in nine games, we're on a hell of a run of form, and now there's no if's and ands, it's set in stone what we've got to do next week. "For us to be where we are with a game to go, after the club nearly went out of existence last year - I've signed 31 players lots of comings and goings, and I think to take it down to the last game is tremendous. "I can't wait, I wish it was tomorrow. There's an awful lot to play for, and I've said for a long time it can go down to the last five minutes of the last game, and it looks like that's going to be the case."

Truro City go second after Chippenham Town win

Truro City moved up to second place in National League South after a 3-0 win at mid-table Chippenham Town. The Tinners, who are now on a four-game winning streak, have lost just once in their last 14 games and are a point behind leaders Worthing having played one extra match. Truro blew Chippenham away with three goals in a nine-minute period soon after half time. Top scorer Tyler Harvey gave Truro a 52nd-minute lead when he curled home a free kick from the edge of the box. He scored his 21st goal of the season two minutes later when he was first to react after Connor Riley-Lowe's shot had been saved by home goalkeeper Josey Casa-Grande. Luke Jephcott scored his third goal in four games soon after with a superb lob over Casa-Grande. City face relegation-battling Enfield Town and Salisbury City in their next two matches before travelling to mid-table Chelmsford City on 29 March and then going to leaders Worthing on 5 April. "I'm really pleased again," Truro manager John Askey told BBC Radio Cornwall. "I thought we were a little bit sloppy to start off with - could possibly have been 2-0 down if it wasn't for Dan Lavercombe who pulled off a couple of good saves, and some last minute tackles. "But after the first 20 minute when we got to grips with how they were playing I thought there was only one team in it, especially in the second half." Truro City FC
