Is Danny Wolf the Boston Celtics next big man?
Heading into the 2025 NBA draft on June 25, the Boston Celtics look thin at the center position. Brad Stevens could potentially use one of the 28th or 32nd picks in the draft to add a center with long-term upside to the rotation. In recent months, Danny Wolf has been a target of the team's fan base. Wolf, a 7-foot big man out of Michigan, projects to be an exciting prospect.
Unlike other 7-footers, Wolf has an off-the-dribble game that makes him an enticing prospect. He can put the rock on the floor and drive the lane. He can attack closeouts. And, there appears to be potential upside in using him as a creative hub around the elbows or on the perimeter. Of course, at his size, with his mobility, there's also hope he could become a reliable defender.

During a recent episode of the "You've Got Boston" podcast, host Noa Dalzell was joined by Tyler Rucker of "No Ceilings." The duo discussed Wolf as a prospect, how he could fit within the Celtics rotation, and whether he will be available when the Celtics are on the clock.
