Falcons linked to three more prospects ahead of 2025 NFL draft
Falcons linked to three more prospects ahead of 2025 NFL draft Oregon LT Josh Conerly, Georgia DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins among Atlanta Falcons' latest pre-draft visits The Atlanta Falcons are doing some last-minute scouting ahead of the 2025 NFL draft. The team has met with several prospects and a few more are expected to visit Atlanta over the next week. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Falcons recently met with Georgia defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins and have a visit scheduled with Oregon left tackle Josh Conerly Jr. Ingram-Dawkins is a projected Day 3 pick who could be an option for Atlanta late in the draft. While the Falcons don't have much draft capital in the early rounds, they have two picks in Round 7. Despite re-signing Ta'Quon Graham and adding Morgan Fox, the team needs more depth along the defensive line after losing Grady Jarrett. Conerly, on the other hand, is a projected first-round pick at a position that isn't a huge need for the Falcons. General manager Terry Fontenot is a firm believer in the best-player-available draft philosophy, so perhaps the team is just doing its homework in case Conerly falls. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelisssero, the Falcons have another visit scheduled with Virginia safety Jonas Sanker sometime next week. Sanker, who's the 116th-rated prospect on the Pro Football Focus big board, has primarily played strong safety throughout his college career. The Falcons signed veteran Jordan Fuller to start next to Jessie Bates next season, but they could use some more depth in the secondary as well. The team could potentially target Sanker in the fourth round at pick No. 118. Check out the full list of Atlanta's picks in the 2025 NFL draft below.

Georgia DL Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins runs among fastest 40-yard dash times at his position
Georgia Bulldogs defensive tackle Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins ran an impressive time in the 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL combine. Ingram-Dawkins ran a 4.86 second 40-yard dash, which ranks second (tied) among all defensive tackles. Only Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson (4.83) has run a faster 40-yard dash at defensive tackle than Ingram-Dawkins. Of course, Ingram-Dawkins is a versatile defender. He can play both defensive end and defensive tackle. Fellow Georgia Bulldog defensive tackles Nazir Stackhouse (5.15 seconds) and Warren Brinson (5.09 seconds) both also participated the in 40-yard dash, but did not impress as much as Ingram-Dawkins. Ingram-Dawkins' 10-yard split of 1.69 seconds is the fastest (tied) of any defensive tackle. NFL scouts closely look at 10-yard splits because it is rare that a defensive lineman would run 40 yards straight down the field. Ingram-Dawkins also posted a 36-inch vertical jump, which was the best of any defensive tackle. Ingram-Dawkins also posted the best broad jump (10-foot-4) among defensive tackles. Ingram-Dawkins' strong performance at the combine should help him rise up NFL draft boards after he did not have the most statistically productive college career. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound defensive tackle is on the lighter side for players at his position, but regardless of his position, he performed well at the combine. 4.86u 😤Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins with the fastest 40 so far 🐶 @Georgiafootball📺: #NFLCombine on @NFLNetwork📱: Stream on @NFLPlus — NFL (@NFL) February 27, 2025 Georgia defensive end Mykel Williams is electing to participate in on-field drills at Georgia's pro day instead of the combine, but Ingram-Dawkins put on a show in Indianapolis for UGA fans and NFL scouts. Seven Georgia Bulldogs make the Senior Bowl
The Senior Bowl is set to take place on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025. In the Senior Bowl, several Georgia Bulldogs are looking to improve their draft stock. The Georgia Bulldogs have seven players that accepted Senior Bowl invitations, which is the second most of any college football team besides the Oregon Ducks. Who are all of the UGA players that accepted Senior Bowl invitations: Safety Dan Jackson The hard-hitting safety accepted his Senior Bowl invite on Jan. 18th. Jackson started his career with Georgia in 2019. In his first two years, he was a member of the scout team, but he emerged as a rotational secondary piece in 2021-23. In 2024, he earned the starting strong safety job, totaling 64 sacks, three passes deflected, a forced fumble, and two interceptions. He earned himself a third-team All-SEC honors as a result. Defensive end Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins surprisingly declared for the NFL draft. Starting in 2022, he earned significant snaps as a rotation edge rusher and defensive end, sometimes even starting. In his career, he racked up 39 tackles, three passes deflected, four sacks and two forced fumbles. His biggest game was against Kentucky in 2024, when he had a sack and five pressures. Linebacker Smael Mondon In his first season with the Bulldogs (2021), Mondon was the reserve defender and player on kick return coverage units. In 2022, he became a full-time starter at linebacker. He had his best stretch of linebacker play during Georgia's postseason run, where he totaled 18 tackles, a sack, and an interception. Mondon has battled through injuries in the past, but when healthy, he is a quality linebacker with three years of starting experience and a knack for rushing the quarterback. He is projected to be a fourth-round draft pick. Offensive guard Tate Ratledge Ratledge has been a starting guard for the Bulldogs since 2021, and he's built up quite the resume with the Bulldogs. In three seasons starting, he earned two All-American nominations, earned the Coaches' First-Team All SEC selection in 2024 despite only playing in nine games. Ratledge is projected to be a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Center Jared Wilson Jared Wilson is a little more inexperienced than Ratledge, but he was still one of the standout linemen for Georgia in 2023 and 2024. Entering Week 14, he was the highest graded center in the Power Four in 2024, allowing zero sacks. Wilson is projected to be a fourth-round pick. Running back Trevor Etienne Etienne, along with Ingram-Dawkins, was another surprise inclusion in the Senior Bowl due to previous reports of him staying at Georgia. Regardless, Etienne was a great downhill runner with both Florida and Georgia. He had a disappointing season with injuries and off-the-field issues in 2024, but when healthy, he provided stability in the running game. Against Texas in the SEC championship, he ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning touchdown. Wide receiver Arian Smith Arian Smith, who was Georgia's leading receiver in 2024, has been a Bulldog since 2020. Because of the COVID year, Smith had one more year of eligibility, but he decided to forgo it to enter the draft. Smith earned snaps starting his freshman year, but he never evolved into a starting wide receiver until 2024. As senior, he totaled 817 yards on 48 receptions. Despite struggling with drops, he was a great route runner and the premier deep threat with Georgia.
