The 125th U.S. Open is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday with Bryson DeChambeau preparing to take on the field in defense of his 2024 title.

The event will take place at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania with ten-plus year PGA Tour veteran golfer Zac Blair among the 2025 field.
Blair has yet to win a major championship and began practicing this week for a chance at one this weekend.
On Tuesday, Blair pulled off an incredible shot that is often considered a faux pas among amateur golfers, but Blair made it work as video of his incredible approach shot went viral on X.

"@z_blair from 122 with the putter on 1 at good," Andy Johnson wrote on X as he shared video of the Blair's unexpected approach shot.
The video nearly hit two million views as of Wednesday morning.
"They're calling this one the 'Utah Wedge,'" one fan said after watching the shot.

"This is too good from @z_blair," another said.
"Need that drone footage asap," another added.
"That's my kind of wedge!!" another said after watching the film on Blair's shot.
Readers began questioning the course due to its tough fairways after watching Blair's unexpected, long-range putt.
They cautioned PGA Tour pros about the challenges of the course, which has befuddled some players in the early going during practice attempts.
Blair is scheduled to tee off on hole number ten Thursday at 6:45 a.m. ET along with Scott Vincent and Alistair Docherty.
He will take on DeChambeau and other top names in pursuit of his first ever victory in a major PGA tournament.
