Nicole Young, from Glasgow, shared a video of the encounter on social media, showing a panicked family being ushered into a room after the bird managed to sneak in. Footage from a Ring doorbell camera shows Young opening the door to collect an Iceland food delivery, when the driver says: "Be careful, there's a magpie in the hoose." Young replied, adding: "They come all the time, you need to try and get a shoebox to try and get it oot." As the delivery driver starts to leave and Young brings her shopping inside, the magpie suddenly flies into the flat – unbeknownst to Young. The driver returns and says: "It's in yer hoose!" Young replies: "Shut up, is it?" Suddenly, a child can be heard crying in another room where the magpie has seemingly flown into, before three children and a man man rush out. The children escape into the living room, while Young and the man attempt to find a box to take the magpie outside. Sharing the video, Young said: "Sunday morning madness quite literally. Magpie flew in the house weans all screaming. The official Iceland account commented: "Sorry for the chaos! That's Gary one of our underqualified delivery magpies, hope you got him out yer hoose x" One TikTok user said: "Magpie scooting past the driver like not today pal I'm delivering the sorrow first" Another said: "Everyone got ushered into a room like a bomb shelter" And another TikTok user commented: "Why is everyone topless and being ushered into a room, why is someone walking past lookin like they're a French soldier from the 1700s, why is everyone screaming and why did the driver boost so fast".
