‘Strange attempt': Bid to impeach Donald Trump ‘born out of politics'
UKLFI Charitable Trust Legal Director Natasha Hausdorff says the bid to impeach US President Donald Trump is a 'strange attempt' born out of politics rather than US constitutional law.
This comes amid the US striking Iran in Operation Midnight Hammer.
'The President does not need to seek permission from Congress in any of these respects, a full declaration of war would be a different matter,' Ms Hausdorff told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
'A strange attempt, I think born out of politics rather than a proper application of US constitutional law.'
