Robotic partial knee replacement performed
MANGALURU: AJ Hospital and Research Centre , successfully performed a CORI Robotic Unicondylar Knee Replacement (UKR) recently. The procedure was carried out by Dr Mayur Rai, senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon, and Dr Mohammed Shabir Kassim, consultant orthopaedic and arthroscopic surgeon. CORI robotic surgical system allows surgeons to perform knee replacements with unmatched accuracy, resulting in better outcomes, faster recovery, and improved long-term knee replacement, commonly known as partial knee replacement , is a minimally invasive procedure designed for patients with damage confined to one compartment of the knee.
