California Capital Airshow returns this weekend
( — The California Capital Airshow returns to Mather Airport this weekend.
This year's show features demonstrations from a number of U.S. military aircraft teams including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the USAF F-16 Viper Demo Team.

In addition to the sights in the sky, attendees can get an up-close ground-level look at combat aircraft dating back as far as World War II and large modern military transport aircraft like the C-5 Super Galaxy M and the C-17 Globemaster II.

The 19th annual airshow, presented by Sacramento County in partnership with the City of Rancho Cordova, previously took place in the fall but this year will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23.
Flying performances will take place on both days from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets for the show are available on the California Capital Airshow website. Tickets will not be available at the gate.
