Fishermen committed to keep watch over coastline: MLA

Operation Sindoor
."Fishermen
have already been informed to keep watch over the 330-kilometre stretch of Karnataka's coastline and during fishing activities at sea, and to immediately report any suspicious individuals or boats," said Suvarna, who is the president of the South Canara and Udupi District Cooperative Fish Marketing Federation.
"Fishermen are always committed to the defence of the country like marine soldiers, and leaders of fishermen's associations at all ports have already provided necessary information and instructions to the fishermen, ensuring they are always ready to serve the nation in times of emergency," the MLA said.
