Two arrested on drug charges after traffic stop, 60 pounds of crystal meth found
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — On January 16, following a month-long investigation into a local Drug Trafficking Organization, many local law enforcements successfully stopped a major methamphetamine operation.
During a traffic stop on Greenville Boulevard, law enforcement arrest Ulises Villela Lopez and Ismael Villela Sandoval. Officers found approximately 60 pounds of crystal meth with an estimated street value of $500,000.
The two men are linked to a Mexico-based Drug Trafficking Organization are face multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine.
They are currently being held at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $4 million secured bond.
