MNPD: Teen shot by mother in West Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A teenager was seriously injured in a shooting at an apartment in West Nashville Monday evening.
Officers were called to the 5800 block of Maudina Avenue around 6:15 p.m.

According to Metro police, officers arrived to find a 17-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to her thigh. Investigators believe the teen got into an argument with her mother, who then fired a gun through a closed bedroom door to 'scare' her.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.
The mother was identified as 36-year-old Ulondria Bond. She was booked into the Metro jail and charged with felony aggravated assault and weapon possession. Her bond was $30,000.
No additional information was immediately released.
