FIA arrests visa fraud suspect

The Federal Investigations Agency (FIA) arrested an suspected human smuggler in a visa fraud case. A spokesman said on Wednesday that the suspect Umair Ali was allegedly involved in extorting money from citizens and had received Rs8 million from a complainant to provide a work visa of the United Kingdom. He failed to fulfill the promise, prompting the complainant to approach the FIA, the spokesman said adding that a team had arrested him from Khanewal.
