Madame Tussauds is the next stop for Bella Ramsey

The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey has encouraged visitors to "high five" their first Madame Tussauds London wax figure when the sculpture makes its debut. The 21-year-old sat with the London wax museum's artists last year so they could collect their measurements, select the figure's outfit and review the initial sculpt. Ramsey said: "It's an honour to work with Madame Tussauds London's world-class artists on my first-ever figure. "I am in awe at the level of detail that the artists put into their work, and it has been such a fun experience to be included in their creative process. I can't wait to see the finished look and to share it with fans." The Nottingham-born actor, who rose to fame in Game Of Thrones as the fiery head of House Mormont, said they first told their parents and dog about their likeness being recreated. "When people find out there's going to be a me at Madame Tussauds London, if they come around and see me, they'll realise how small I am," they said. "I just hope that people like giving me like a high five or something, or shaking my hand. I'll happily shake it back." Ramsey also said they were "naive" about being publicly outspoken following them saying they identify as non-binary. They also revealed their autism diagnosis earlier this year. They said: "It's kind of scary that everyone sort of knows things about me, but at the same time… I've had so many people speak to me about how it's helped them to be more comfy in themselves or feel more confident in their own skin, because they're seeing a representation of that. "I didn't expect, at all, to be a role model or something for people, but it's really, really lovely that that is sort of what's happening." Steve Blackburn, general manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: "Bella Ramsey is a film, TV, and style icon. They shine as brightly on screen as they do in person, never compromising who they are or what they stand for. "And working with them to ensure their first-ever Madame Tussauds figure is an exact likeness has been a delight. "We hope fans love the outfit choice too - the standout Undercover look from the recent The Last Of Us LA premiere, chosen by Bella and kindly donated by the Japanese streetwear label themselves." In The Last Of Us, Ramsey plays teenager Ellie, who is reluctantly brought across a post-apocalyptic world by Joel Miller, played by Pedro Pascal. The second season of The Last Of Us was released in April and continues the show based on the action-adventure video game franchise of the same name. It is set five years into the future from its first run and sees Ellie and Joel's newfound safety threatened as a fungal-based pandemic that turns people into zombie-like creatures continues to rage. Ramsey's figure will be placed in the Awards Party zone, joining stars such as Timothee Chalamet, Harry Styles and Zendaya, and will feature the green suit and red tie from their The Last Of Us premiere in March. They won the best young performer Bafta award in 2019 for their role in The Worst Witch, a CBBC drama about a school for witches, and received an Emmy nomination in 2023 for their role in The Last Of Us, but lost out to Succession 's Sarah Snook.

Music for the Eyes

Though spring had not yet sprung, several days of sunshine and blue skies during Paris Fashion Week in early March had people ditching the winter garb they had packed for lighter, brighter attire. For some, this required a bit of emergency shopping. In and outside shows, a theme that seemed to inspire ensembles was the deep relationship between fashion and rock 'n' roll. It manifested on the streets in forms that included leather jackets, flared pants and hairstyles that were sharp, angular and gelled. On the runway, the Japanese brand Undercover leaned heavily into rocker style, presenting a collection that appeared to take inspiration from female performers like Patti Smith and Kim Gordon. Junya Watanabe offered a more abstract interpretation in looks that married bell bottoms with fanciful tops and seemed tailor-made for the singer Björk. Her presence was also in the air at the Acne Studios show, where a remix of her song 'Human Behavior' was part of the soundtrack.

Amanda Seyfried Puts Sparkling Spin on Suiting for ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,' Talks Sabrina Carpenter in ‘Mamma Mia! 3'

Amanda Seyfried meant business on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Tuesday. The actress stopped by to promote her latest project, 'Long Bright River.' Seyfried sported a black Undercover blazer featuring sequin appliqués and satin lapels, adding on matching trousers. Patent leather stilettos and a David Yurman gold chain necklace topped off her look. Speaking to host Jimmy Fallon, Seyfried discussed the possibility of a 'Mamma Mia! 3.' Fans have suggested that Sabrina Carpenter star as her character Sophie's daughter. In 2023, producer Judy Cramer told Deadline that another sequel was 'in its earliest stages,' though nothing 'official' has been planned. 'Somebody said [Carpenter] was a fan of the musicals and they said, 'Couldn't she play your daughter?' Yeah, that would be great. Big fan,' Seyfried said. The 'Espresso' singer has covered Abba songs on her ongoing 'Short 'n Sweet' tour. The Swedish band's sizable discography serves as the basis for the 'Mamma Mia!' franchise. Seyfried also shared plot details about her upcoming show, which debuts March 13 on Peacock. ''Long Bright River' is a crime show about this woman who's a cop — I always wanted to play a cop — who works in and around Kensington in Philadelphia,' she explained. 'It's a very specific neighborhood that's been marginalized and feared and we kind of change the perspective.' Seyfried described the show as a love letter to the city, though it tackles taboo topics like the opioid epidemic and the sex work industry. 'There's a series of murders that she's trying to solve because somebody she loves very dearly could possibly be the next victim,' Seyfried added. View Gallery Launch Gallery: Samuel L. ‘The 47,' ‘Undercover' Share Best Picture Honors at Spain's Goya Awards in Historic First

In a historic first, Marcel Barrera's heroic bus driver heart warmer 'The 47' and Arantxa Echeverría terrorist org infiltrator thriller 'Undercover' became the first films ever to share the best picture Spanish Academy Goya on Saturday night at a ceremony where Richard Gere lashed out at Donald Trump. 'We are in a very dark place in America where we have a bully and a thug who is the president of the United States,' Gere said, accepting this year's International Goya. More from Variety Richard Gere Calls Donald Trump a 'Bully and a Thug' at Spain's Goya Awards: 'We Are in a Very Dark Place in America' 'Emilia Pérez' Star Karla Sofía Gascón to Skip Spain's Goya Awards Amid Controversy Spanish Goya Winner Arantxa Echevarría Boards Chile-Vietnam-Spain Co-Production 'The Meeting' (EXCLUSIVE) A surprise, Pedro Almodóvar won best-adapted screenplay and best cinematography (Eduard Grau), despite not being nominated for best picture. 'In 'The Room Next Door,' John Turturro's character warns Julianne Moore at a meal that there is nothing that can accelerate the end of the planet more than the survival of the level of neoliberalism and the rise of the extreme right. And here we have both of them walking side by side, sooner or later, and I fear it will be sooner. This is going down the drain,' Almodóvar said in a message read out at the ceremony by brother Agustin Amodóvar. Isaki Lacuesta and Pol Rodríguez won best director for 'Saturn Return,' an often laughably subversive crowd-pleasing portrait of indie rock group Los Planetas on the cusp of recording the album which proved their breakthrough. Caroline Yuste, star of 'Undercover,' scored best actress, beating both 'The Room Next Door' stars Tilda Swinton and Julia Moore. 'Emilia Pérez' took Best European Film but, as anticipated, the award was accepted not by Karla Sofia Gascón, who did not attend Saturday night's Spanish Academy Goya Awards, but rather its Spanish distributors, Wanda Vision's Miguel Morales and Elástica's Enrique Costa, designated to accept the award by the film's producer, France's Why Not. In other high-profile awards, Walter Salles' best picture Oscar contender 'I'm Still Here' won best Ibero-American picture. Javier Bardem and Antonio Banderas gave star wattage to the ceremony, which was noted in its run-up as much for its absences as attendees. Pedro Almodóvar and Penelope Cruz canceled sick from 'the flu. Almodóvar's 'The Room Next Door' failed to score a best picture nomination. In one of the ceremony's emotional high points, daughter María Isasi delivered a homage to Almodóvar star Marisa Paredes ('The Flower of My Secret'), who died on Dec. 17. 'She was adored, loved and respected. She just didn't know how much.' Spain's 39th Goyas Awards finally focused, however, on this year's winners. Based on true events, 'The 47' climaxes in how Manolo Vital, a Barcelona bus driver, persuaded authorities to open up a bus route from the city to Torre Baró, an outlying village, by a fact of rebellion in 1978. Much of the film, however, explores Vital's experience as a Spanish immigrant who moved from southern Extremadura to Barcelona, escaping gross poverty. The film, naturally enough, has touched a national nerve: modern-day Spain was forged by Spaniards emigrating from villages to its big cities. 'The film explores the immigrant experience,' notes The Mediapro Studio's Javier Méndez. 'It asks when you begin to develop a sense of belonging.' Produced by Bowfinger International Pictures and Beta Fiction, 'Undercover' turns on a real-life woman police officer who infiltrated Basque terrorist org ETA at the age of 20. 'We think sometimes that young spectators don't want to know what happened in the past. They're wrong,' said Mercedes Gamero at Beta Fiction. 'The 47' and 'Undercover' may also point up an incipient sea change in what kind of Spanish movies Spaniards want to see, proving two of three quality commercial films of social point made for adult audiences – along with dysfunctional Catalan family satire 'A House on Fire' – which all three scored best picture nominations at this year's Goyas and have scored notable breakout box office in Spain, 'Undercover' grossing €8 million ($8.3 million) at Spanish cinemas. 'The 47' and 'Undercover' didn't have it all their way, however. 'The 47's' star Eduard Fernández scored best actor, but for another film, false Holocaust victim imposter drama 'Marco,' directed by Aitor Arregi and Jon Garaño. Eduard Sola nabbed best original screenplay for 'A House on Fire.' In other awards, 'The Flamenco Guitar of Yerai Cortés,' the feature debut of Anton Álvarez, better known as singer-composer C. Tangana, proved one of the most popular winners of the nights, scooping best doc feature and song, the touching love song 'Los Almendros' sung at the end of the film. Javier Macipe walked off with best new director for 'The Blue Star,' a portrait of Spanish rocker Mauricio Aznar, while Pepe Llorente took best new actor. Aitana Sánchez Gigon, star of 'A Walk in the Clouds,' where she played opposite Keanu Reeves, and Brad Anderson's cult movie 'The Machinist' accepted an Honorary Goya making reference once more implicitly to Trump. 'We shouldn't be afraid of culture but the new imperialisms,' she said. Suzy plans ‘Come Back' with new single

Actress and former Miss A member Suzy is returning to the music scene with a new digital single. Suzy will release "Come Back" on Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. through various music streaming platforms, according to her agency, Management Soop. This marks her first new song in over two years, following the release of "Cape" in October 2022, excluding her original sound track projects for television series. In October 2023, Suzy contributed to the soundtrack of the Netflix series 'Doona!' with songs such as 'Ordinary Days' and 'Undercover.' She played the leading role as a retired K-pop idol, Lee Doo-na, in the Netflix original. Suzy participated in shaping the concept of the new release, the agency said. "Come Back" was produced by Kang Hyun-min, who previously collaborated with Suzy on "Satellite" and "Cape."
