PM to launch and lay foundation stones of road projects worth Rs 17088 crores in Bihar
Patna, May 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and also lay foundation stones of road projects worth Rs 17088 crores during his two-day visit to Bihar beginning on May 29.
Bihar Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen, during a review meeting of his department, said that PM Modi was all set to gift road projects worth Rs 17088 crores to Bihar during his two day visit to Bihar beginning on May 29. Modi would
inaugurate Patna- Gaya- Dobhi road and also its package-1, 2 and 3, having total investment of Rs 5519 crores, he added.
In addition, PM will also inaugurate a lane elevated road on NH-27. It was constructed with expenses of Rs 249 crores by Union Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways, he added.
Minister said that PM would lay foundation stone of Patna-Ara-Sasaram roads under package one and two of NH-119. It would be constructed by Union Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways with investment of Rs 3712 crores. PM would also lay foundation stones of other road projects worth Rs 7,608 crores.
PM is also scheduled to inaugurate newly constructed terminal at Patna airport. It has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1200 crores. He will also inaugurate dormitory and staff quarters of Jawahar Navodaya vidyalaya. He will also hold mega roadshow in Patna.
