OSWEGO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — North Carolina-based country band, Parmalee will be welcomed as the Friday night headliner of Oswego Harborfest 2025. You can bring your lawn chairs to the show but make sure to leave some space in front of you so you can dance!' said Dan Harrington, executive director. Harborfest is an annual tradition in Oswego. United Way of Seneca County hosting pop-up thrift shop to help Ovid
SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A pop-up thrift shop will be held at the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets beginning Wednesday, Feb. 26, with proceeds going towards the Ovid community. United Way of Seneca County is hosting the event following a fire that devastated the area back on January 21. Multiple businesses and residences located on Main Street were destroyed. A Buffalo Bills flag stood proudly in front of massive devastation in Ovid United Way said the people affected by the fire have taken what they needed from donations, but there are still items left over, which will now be sold at the thrift shop to continue to help the victims. Items including clothes bags, shoes, toys, and household items will all be sold at a discounted price. The pop-up thrift shop will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Wednesday through Sunday, March 2. Cash and credit cards will be accepted, according to the United Way.
