Jeffrey, who is also Star President, acknowledged a recent 'gag order' during Jelajah GRS in Keningau that attempted to restrict party presidents from speaking, calling it damaging and divisive. Jeffrey, who is also GRS Deputy Chairman, stressed that junior members should not publicly criticise senior leaders and called for respectful internal discussions within the coalition's leadership council. He warned of GRS's current trust deficit, proposing rotating chairmanship, defined roles for all component parties, and open federal alignment to rebuild voter confidence. Calling for a Unity Meeting involving all Sabah-based parties, Jeffrey said GRS must return to its founding spirit of local leadership and mutual respect to maintain credibility ahead of the state election. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
