Students attend heritage event at State Museum in Lucknow

Lucknow: Quiz contest and photo exhibition were organised by State Museum, Lucknow to commemorate the World Heritage Day at Govt Inter College and Universal Public School on Tuesday. The programme was organised with the aim of preserving, promoting and making new generation aware of historical heritage and culture. Students were introduced to various aspects of art and culture through a photo exhibition of artifacts collected in the State Museum and were invited to visit the museum. Participants were made aware of importance of heritage conservation . As many as 104 students participated in the quiz competition organised in Govt Inter College. Students made beautiful pictures of historical monuments, heritage sites and protected monuments. Around 50 students participated in the quiz, organised in Universal Public School. Prizes were given to select students and certificates to all participants.
