Sidwell Friends takes down national tennis powers; Bullis shines at Penn Relays
For the Sidwell Friends tennis team, May is a month of opportunity. This spring, the nationally-ranked Quakers hope to extend their reign atop the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference and win the D.C. State Athletic Association title after falling in the DCSAA championship last season to three-time defending champion St. Albans.
With the postseason now right around the corner, Coach Logan West's team will enter the final month of the season with several momentous wins in hand. In mid-April, the Quakers traveled to Tennessee and left with 4-3 victories over Harvard-Westlake (California) and McCallie School (Tennessee), which were ranked No. 6 and No. 2 respectively in the Universal Tennis Rating's national rankings.
