Brushing off the gossip surrounding his romance, Belichick said: "Never been too worried about what everybody else thinks, just try to do what I feel like is best for me and what's right." Prior to his relationship with Hudson, he had shared 16 years with TV host Linda Holliday.
Who is Linda Holliday?
Belichick and Holliday started their romance back in 2007, after Belichick split from Debby Clarke. Holliday is a mother to twin daughters, Kat and Ashley Hess, 32, from a previous relationship, while Belichick is the father of three children from his marriage to Clarke.

Although they had no children together, the former couple did share a dog called Nike. Before her life in the spotlight alongside Belichick, Holliday had pursued radiography at Vanderbilt University, carving out a career in the medical field.
It was during an August 2022 chat with
Boston
Common Magazine that Holliday opened up about her journey before fame.
"In my speech [at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation], I had said something about how I spent 15 years selling X-ray medical devices such as CT equipment and MRIs and breast imaging and graduated with a degree in radiography from Vanderbilt University," Holliday said.
"A lot of people were shocked because people in Boston had just known me in the fashion world as being a television spokesperson on Style Boston."

Her LinkedIn reveals that after leaving the medical device sales scene, Holliday took the reins at Blue Indigo Boutique for three years. She then stepped into the sports limelight as a correspondent on Style Boston in 2009, but is now best known as a TV host.
Holliday, also known for her philanthropic work, recently served as the president of the Bill Belichick Foundation. This foundation offers coaching, mentorship, and financial aid to athletes and community programs. Holliday's social media profiles reveal her involvement in various charitable causes around Nantucket.
Life after split from Belichick
Last October, Holliday turned heads on social media when she dressed up as Uma Thurman's character from Kill Bill, a cheeky nod to her high-profile split. However, recent reports suggest that Holliday is relishing her life in Nantucket.

reported that Holliday had relocated to a $4.8 million property in Nantucket, which Belichick had purchased just a few months prior. Holliday was seen refurbishing the luxurious four-bedroom house and spending quality time with her twin daughters on the island.
A source confided to
People Magazine
in December that Holliday has moved on and is leading "a happy life". The source also mentioned that she was "well taken care of" after parting ways with Belichick.

The report stated that Holliday continued to use her
Florida
residence and had also been gifted a Nantucket property by Belichick. In an interview with N Magazine in 2017, Holliday expressed her love for the area.
"This is where everybody flocks home. No matter what everybody is doing during their busy lives, Nantucket is where family comes together as a unit again," she said.
"It's the feeling of getting over here and having that island factor. You're away from everything and yet you're still among friends."
