The pivotal moment that contributed to Channel 5's decision to cancel the series involved Roxanne accusing Ryan of physically assaulting her "like a boxer would punch a bag." ' Fortuitously for Roxanne, Jason's quest for love on the reality show hadn't panned out, and the couple sealed their love in January 2020 with an intimate wedding ceremony, not long after their engagement in November. Following the nuptials, Roxanne shared a touching message, possibly nodding to her previous trials, saying: "There's an old saying that difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations. Well, it was worth every broken step that got me here, and I thank God every moment that out of everyone in the whole world, I was led to you. You are my safest place and my greatest adventure. Thank you for choosing me. On our wedding day, we celebrated our commitment to one another. A day I'll truly remember as perfect in every way." The joy didn't stop there for Roxanne; in 2021, she and Jason welcomed their son Maverick into the world. Bursting with pride over her husband and newfound parenthood, Roxanne once even launched an Instagram handle devoted to their shared life but soon ceased posting, choosing the path of privacy again. She reflected in 2021, stating: "I've learned the importance of privacy and have focused on becoming a better person, not just for myself but for my family." Most recently, Roxanne has hinted at the possibility of making a comeback to acting but remained ambiguous about any solid intentions to return to television. In a mystifying conversation with The Sun, she disclosed: "I don't want to rush back into anything that isn't right for me.
