Urban League hosts its third large-scale St. Louis tornado relief event
ST. LOUIS – Now three weeks after a devastating tornado swept across St. Louis, the Urban League continues to step up to help others in need.
On Saturday, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis held its third of four planned large-scale distribution events, handing out relief supplies to families affected by the May 16 tornado. They provided thousands of packages of food, toiletries, and other essential items.
The Urban League headquarters will continue to accept donations Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They need food items and general supplies, along with infant and hygiene products. For more information, click here.
