(Video) Fan Requests KATSEYE Members To Sign Her Sanitary Pad During Event

Getting an autograph from your idol is an experience that not everyone can have. Most netizens would bring books, posters, items of clothing or something personally important to them to events where they have the opportunity to meet their favourite star. But what happens when you forget to bring something to a signing? 'Urban Outfitters' previously launched their 'OU: Haul' event campaign that aimed to support Gen Z with the important moment of their lives back in college. With the event, they hosted a city-wide scavenger hunt. The selected winners are invited to witness a performance of the girl group KATSEYE on 20th May (Tuesday) and 21st May (Wednesday). After the performance, netizens were given the chance to meet the girl group in person. One of the attending Eyekons (KATSEYE's fans) reportedly didn't have anything on hand for the idols to sign, so she offered a sanitary pad she had with her instead. The members were initially surprised by the unusual request but soon found it amusing, sharing a laugh with the fan and her friends. The members readily signed the pad while casually chatting with other Eyekons. Later, when the fan crossed paths with another member on the way out, the incident was shared with the group, and upon recognising the fan, the member added her signature to the pad as well. When the Eyekon shared the interaction on Twitter, many netizens found it hilarious, praising the fan's boldness for requesting something so unconventional at a signing event. Calling the situation 'Peak Girlhood' because of the reactions that everyone had to the pads being used, calling the fan an 'icon', and overall being supportive with how everything played out. While having a fan ask their idol to sign their pad for them is unusual, it's quite common for musical artists to receive requests from their audience to sign things that vary from a simple booklet to body parts. It brings a fun twist to fan signing culture, with netizens wondering what the next unusual item someone would bring to the table. 'Urban Outfitters has always been a destination for discovery, especially for Gen Z, who are expressive, engaged, and intentional in how they shop and show up,' Cyntia Leo, head of brand marketing and communications at Urban Outfitters, said in a statement. 'Nike is the ideal first partner to bring this vision to life. Their cultural credibility is unmatched, and their legacy of innovation continues to set the pace.' Urban Outfitters' SoHo Nike Shop Courtesy of Urban Outfitters The On Rotation concept was created with Gen Z in mind, and Urban Outfitters will pick other brands to partner with that appeal to the generation. Nike continues to be the favorite footwear and apparel brand of teens, according to a recent Piper Sandler survey. However, Nike has been losing ground among the cohort in recent years. The partnership with Urban Outfitters comes as Nike is trying to reestablish relationships with its wholesalers. The athletics company acknowledged missteps in its strategy when it began pulling back on those partnerships and has been working to build them out once again. Returns At Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) Are On The Way Up

If we want to find a potential multi-bagger, often there are underlying trends that can provide clues. Firstly, we'll want to see a proven return on capital employed (ROCE) that is increasing, and secondly, an expanding base of capital employed. Basically this means that a company has profitable initiatives that it can continue to reinvest in, which is a trait of a compounding machine. So on that note, Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) looks quite promising in regards to its trends of return on capital. AI is about to change healthcare. If you haven't worked with ROCE before, it measures the 'return' (pre-tax profit) a company generates from capital employed in its business. Analysts use this formula to calculate it for Urban Outfitters: Return on Capital Employed = Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) ÷ (Total Assets - Current Liabilities) 0.14 = US$478m ÷ (US$4.5b - US$1.1b) (Based on the trailing twelve months to January 2025). One shopper praised: "Please release more colours absolutely love this dress and received so many compliments." A second fashion fan praised: "I waited for the cream colour of this dress to be back in stock and it was so worth it!! The dress is beautiful and I cant wait to frolic in it in summer." While someone else added: "fabulous and fashionable got so many compliments." Even though there were no fully negative reviews, some shoppers did find a few drawbacks, as one wrote: "I waited for this dress to come back in the yellow for ages, and it's so pretty! I had to size up cause it was the last one left, but it didn't really make a difference. "I love how it flows, and there's lining! It's very comfy, the only complaint I have is that the shoulders do fall. It looks nice as an off-shoulder look though!" Another shopper happy with the dress wrote: "Summer dream. Absolutely love it!! Only a little bit transparent." Someone else praised: "Honestly so comfy and the material is gorgeous." Purchase the Sienna Maxi Dress from Urban Outfitters for £59 here .
