On SBS's 50th anniversary, Australian writer and author Tariq Mahmood Mirza called SBS a symbol of Australian multiculturalism. He said that SBS Urdu is also succeeding across digital and social platforms.
According to Tariq Mirza, SBS Urdu's live video streaming on Facebook, Instagram Reels, and YouTube podcasts has become the digital and social identity of SBS across Australia.
