Malaysia to host future ready ESG 2025 Conference in June

KUALA LUMPUR (April 25): Malaysia will host the Future-Ready ESG 2025 Conference on June 21 at MAB Academy, KLIA, bringing together regional and international stakeholders to advance environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
Themed 'Local Implementation, Regional Integration, Global Transformation', the event supports Malaysia's Asean 2025 Chairmanship and aims to position the country as a regional ESG leader.
Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz will officiate at the event and deliver a keynote address titled 'Malaysia and Asean: ESG Leadership in a Shared Regional Future'.
His participation underscores the government's firm commitment to promoting sustainable investment, trade, and industrial growth aligned with global ESG principles.
Also speaking is Ireland's Ambassador to Malaysia Orla Tunney, who will highlight Ireland's inclusive approach to ESG and the growing diplomatic collaboration with Malaysia.
The conference is jointly organised by Asia e University's School of Professional and Executive Education Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia's Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Water Security, Intuition, and MAB Academy.
Participants include representatives from Malaysia Aviation Group, UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei, Malaysian Carbon Market Association, and the ESG Association of Malaysia.
The event seeks to bridge the gap between ESG vision and practice, empowering local and regional stakeholders to adopt practical, scalable sustainability strategies.
Through knowledge-sharing and cross-border collaboration, it aspires to foster an inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future for Asean and beyond.
