How Ringg AI is quietly powering the voice tech revolution for businesses worldwide

In an age where swipes and taps dominate our digital interactions, one Bengaluru-based startup is making a bold bet: that your voice will be the next frontier. Meet Ringg AI — a no-code conversational AI platform that's helping businesses across the globe leap into a voice-first future. Recently securing $1 million in seed funding from early-stage VC firm Capital 2B, Ringg AI is building the infrastructure for natural, multilingual voice conversations at scale. And no, we're not talking about clunky IVRs or chatbot popups. From Bengaluru to the World: What Ringg AI Is Building Started in 2023 by Siddharth Shankar Tripathi (CEO), Utkarsh Shukla (Head of AI), and Kali Charan Vemuru(Head of Systems Engineering), Ringg AI offers businesses a way to plug in real-time voice agents—think Siri for customer support, but tailored, smart, and in your own language. Their platform already supports 15+ Indian and global languages, and can hold dynamic, full-duplex conversations across phone lines, websites, and apps. What's the big idea? 'We believe voice will replace touch,' says Siddharth. 'In the next few years, talking to machines will feel more intuitive than tapping through them.' Why Big Businesses Are Taking Note Ringg isn't building tech for the future—it's already powering customer conversations in some of the most complex industries: Fintech: Loan reminders and KYC nudges with 30%+ more engagement Healthcare: AI receptionists that reduce agent cost by 37% Logistics: Voice confirmations that cut failed deliveries by 67% And it's not just India—Ringg is seeing traction in the Middle East and Latin America, with support for Arabic, Spanish, and more. That's crucial, especially in geographies where literacy and interface familiarity vary widely. Stripe for Voice. Twilio for Conversations. The voice AI space is crowded with hype—but Ringg is quietly positioning itself as the infrastructure layer, not just the flashy interface. 'AI is not just about large models,' says Utkarsh, who leads Ringg's AI efforts. 'It's about latency, personalization, and speed. Ringg makes that real.' Kali, who runs systems engineering, sums it up: 'We want to make launching voice agents as easy as sending a WhatsApp message.' With collaborations already underway with Microsoft and Nvidia, Ringg's vision is clear: make voice the de facto UI—just like Stripe did for payments. The team plans to use funding to expand its core engineering and research team while building the product in a way that keeps it extremely low/no code. Whether it's a logistics manager in Delhi or a bank in Dubai, Ringg wants to ensure that voice—not typing—is how they get things done. Curious to see it in action? Visit

Night drive around Delhi's Connaught Place in car with fake MHA plate, 4 arrested

The Delhi Police Saturday night arrested four men for allegedly roaming around the Connaught Place area late at night in a car fitted with a fake Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) plate. When stopped and questioned by the police, one of the men falsely claimed to be an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer while the other three claimed to be his bodyguards, the police said. The men were identified as Utkarsh Shukla and Akhilesh Pandey, both 21; Aniket Pandey, 27; and Rajkumar, 28, all residents of Lucknow. The police recovered a fake IB identity card from Utkarsh, and a hooter and siren from inside their luxury SUV vehicle. During interrogation, the police said, Utkarsh confessed that he orchestrated the entire act to 'show off' and impress others. When the police checked his belongings, they also recovered a fake station master identity card with his photo. According to police officers, the incident occurred near the Outer Circle of Connaught Place, where police were conducting routine picket checks when they stopped the suspicious vehicle around 11.30 pm. Suspicions deepened for the police when the driver, Mohammad Adil, revealed during a strict interrogation that he did not know the four passengers. He disclosed that they hired the car from Lucknow and purchased the fake plate along the way, said the police. Following the revelations, the police registered a case against the four passengers of the car under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 204 (impersonating a public servant), 336(3) (forged documents or electronic records and presenting as genuine), 3(5) (common intent), along with sections 39 (necessity for registration) and 192 (if someone drives or allows someone else to drive a vehicle that is not registered as required by law, they can be fined) of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Representative image NEW DELHI: Amid heightened security in the national capital, cops in Connaught Place went into a tizzy during the weekend after they intercepted an SUV with blinkers and a ' Ministry of Home Affairs ' label. While one of the five persons seated inside claimed to be an Intelligence Bureau officer, two others allegedly posed as his bodyguards and another as his friend. All four people have been caught and booked. Police said at 11.30pm on Saturday, during picket checking in Outer Circle, Connaught Place, a white SUV with a UP numberplate was flagged for inspection after the vehicle was observed displaying a red plastic plate with the MHA insignia on its front windshield. When the police team stopped the vehicle, it found five people, including the driver, sitting inside. 'One of the passengers, Utkarsh Shukla, a 21-year-old resident of Lucknow, introduced himself as an Intelligence Bureau officer. To confirm his claim, he presented an ID card that listed him as an 'Assistant Central Intelligence Officer'. Under 'area of working', it was written 'all over India',' a police officer said. To corroborate Shukla's story, three of the other four people identified themselves as his friends and bodyguards, the officer added. However, their cover was blown after investigation revealed that the ID card was fake. Shukla told police he had got it made to 'show off' and also admitted that he was not affiliated with MHA. A search of Shukla's belongings yielded another fake ID card , this time identifying him as a station master with Indian Railways. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play this game for 3 minutes, if you own a mouse Undo During questioning, the driver told police that he did not know the four people and that they had hired the SUV in Lucknow.
