Rathotsavam enthrals devotees
Tirupati: On the penultimate day as part of Sri Govindaraja Swamy annual Brahmotsavam, the Utsava deities atop the mammoth wooden chariot blessed devotees on Monday. Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Sri Govindaraja Swamy marched with royalty along the streets of Tirupati. Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to deities. In the evening, Unjal Seva will be performed. Both the Tirumala Pontiffs, FACAO Balaji, Dy EO Shanti and others were present.

Lord blesses devotees from atop Hanumantha Vahanam
Tirupati: A top Hanumanta Vahanam, Sri Govindaraja Swamy took out a celestial ride on Saturday morning to bless His devotees along the four Mada streets in Tirupati. The sixth morning witnessed the Utsava deity on the Hanumanta Vahanam. In the evening, sri Govindaraja Swamy took out a celestial tide on the Gaja Vahanam. Both the Tirumala pontiffs, Dy EO Shanti and others were present.

Govindaraja Brahmotsavams: Lord rides on Simha Vahanam
TIRUPATI: The ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati witnessed the Utsava deity seated majestically atop the ferocious Simha Vahanam. The devotional cultural troupes displayed colourful dances in front of Vahanam on the bright sunny Wednesday. While a few artistes portrayed Narasimha Avatara attracting the devotees. In the evening along with his consorts Sridevi and Sri Bhudevi, Lord Govindaraja Swamy shined on the glittering Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam on Mada streets and blessed the devotees. Both the senior and junior pontiffs of Tirumala, Dy EO Shanti, AEO Munikrishna Reddy, others and devotees were present.

Tirumala: Padmavati Parinayam concludes
Tirumala: The three-day annual Padmavati Parinayam concluded on a grand religious note on Thursday evening amidst heavy down pour at Tirumala. Sri Malayappa Swamy reached the wedding venue on Garuda Vahanam while Sridevi and Bhudevi on separate Tiruchis. The celestial wedding ceremony concluded on Suddha Ekadasi Tithi. After a series of traditional events like Chaturveda Paarayanam-Raga-Tala- Sangeeta programs, in the presence of the finely decked Utsava murthies, the celestial wedding ceremony was observed. TTD Chairman BR Naidu, EO Syamala Rao, other officials, devotees were also present.

Grand celebration of Sri Sita Jayanti at Vontimitta Sri Kodandarama Swamy temple
Vontimitta/Tirupati: Sri Sita Jayanti was celebrated in a grand religious manner on Tuesday at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta, Kadapa district. As part of the celebrations, the day began with Suprabhatam, followed by the sacred Tirumanjanam for the deities. Later, special rituals including Vyasabhishekam, Aaradhana, and Archana were performed for the presiding deities. In the evening, between 5 PM and 6 PM, the Utsava idols of Sri Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana were ceremoniously seated on a beautifully decorated platform in Ranga Mandapam. A special 'Vasantika Puja' was performed for Sita Devi, amidst the rendering of Sahasranamarchana and the offering of fragrant jasmine flowers.
