James Packer's lieutenant lists showstopping home with hopes above $90m

While James Packer was busy making real estate moves in America earlier this week, the head of his family office was busy preparing his own distinguished trophy home for the market back in Australia. Lawrence Myers, chief executive of James Packer's family office Consolidated Press Holdings, and his wife Sylvia have listed their exquisite Rose Bay home with a price guide above $90 million. In what could be one of the top sales for the year and set to smash the suburb record by almost double, the waterfront estate in one of the most tightly held pockets of Sydney is a sight to behold. With gun barrel views of the harbour, the 1039-square-metre parcel of verdant land is almost unmatched. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house, designed by David Walker and Peter Janks, has no immediate neighbours on either side and frames Sydney's iconic sights picture perfectly. The Myers are selling due to the extensive and increasing international travel demands of Lawrence's executive role as a specialist high net-worth advisor for his wealthy clientele. Indeed, the 51-year-old holds an impressive list of roles, as well as being the boss of Packer's family office. The accountant is also a deputy chairman of Breville, a board member of fund manager VGI Partners and is also a trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW Foundation, according to his LinkedIn. The home has been maintained meticulously, albeit not substantially updated since it was built in 2013, and yet has had a bullish run in sales over the years in a testament to the calibre of the home and the Rose Bay market.
