New construction project expected to cause ‘significant' delays on VT 2A
WILLISTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Construction work on the Williston VT 2A and the Industrial Avenue Project is expected to cause 'significant' delays in certain areas, according to the Vermont Agency of Transportation.
Traffic is expected in the 'Five Corners' area of Essex Junction, on VT 2A at the intersection with VT 15 and VT 117. Delays are also anticipated at the U.S. Route 2 and VT 2A intersection in Williston.
Work in these areas will occur on weekdays now through fall 2025.
VTRANS is reconstructing a segment of VT 2A that is roughly 0.7 miles long, from Meadowrun Road to the River Cove Road area.
