Aberdeen buy 'dynamic' Schalke left-back Gyamfi
Aberdeen have signed "dynamic" 20-year-old left-back Emmanuel Gyamfi from Schalke 04 for an undisclosed a Germany youth international, moves to Pittodrie from the Bundesliga 2 side on a four-year contract."Emmanuel is a player we have been monitoring for some time," said Dons manager Jimmy Thelin."He possess all the attributes we are looking for in a modern full-back. He's dynamic and has a great work ethic."His development at Schalke and his recent loan spell demonstrates his potential and we believe this will be the environment in which he can thrive."After five years in the Schalke academy, Gyamfi signed his first professional contract in 2024 and spent last season on loan at VVV-Venlo in the Dutch second tier, making 31 appearances."I'm really happy to be here and so are my family, so I am ready to go," he said of his Aberdeen move."I will give my best to help the team.
