HGTV Stars Bryan Baeumler and Scott McGillivray Sound Off on Controversial Design Opinions
Bryan Baeumler and Scott McGillivray are teaming up again for a new season of Renovation Resort. The show is currently airing on Canada on Home network. HGTV has not yet announced a date for the show to air in the U.S., but, while fans await the news, we can be entertained by Bryan and Scott's antics on social media.
Recently, the stars of the show were asked to share their controversial design opinion, and, as you'd expect, Bryan and Scott did not hold back. Bryan stirred the pot with his answer: "Bathtubs in bathrooms, completely unnecessary. The bigger the shower, the better." Fans chimed in to react to his opinion, saying, "Maybe at a resort no bathtub but at my home I love my bathtub. It's so calming at night." Another wrote, "Bubble baths are the best time of my evening and bathing kiddos, sorry it's needed." One viewer said, "Love ya Bryan, but I totally disagree! No bathtub in a house is a dealbreaker for me."

Scott, whose show Vacation House Rules returns to HGTV on April 26, shared his opinion: "You know what? Everybody's color drenching, and I'm not into it." Fans seemed to agree with this thought, leaving messages like, "I'm over the grey, and colour drenching…it's a lot!" and "I'm with Scott on the Colour drenching! That's a noo for me."
Other members of the crew added their two cents, saying they're over MDF, "all-white everything," sayings on walls, and glam style.
