Stockton Police investigate shooting incident in Valley Oak District
( — The Stockton Police Department responded to reports of a person shot on Sunday morning.
According to SPD, the incident happened at 12:07 a.m. on the 8100 block of Palisades Drive in the Valley Oak District. When officers arrived at the scene, they found one female victim who had suffered from a gunshot wound to the leg.

SPD stated the victim, who is in her late 20s, was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, there have been no reports of the suspect being detained.
