Safety measures intensified
Along with providing additional services, Indian Railways has tightened security measures at major stations, especially in the northern transit corridors and those vulnerable areas.
GRP (Government Railway Police), Dog Squads, and local police have increased their joint inspections to combat any efforts at infiltration or sabotage. Similar exercises in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore Station were also recorded, indicating heightened awareness across the country.
These actions are in line with more extensive national security procedures that were implemented as border tensions escalated.
Public advised to stay informed
Passengers have been urged to check real-time updates via the NTES (National Train Enquiry System) or directly with Indian Railways and respective stations. With traffic diversions and operational tweaks expected, authorities emphasize timely travel planning and official source verification to avoid misinformation.
