Students thank govt for recognising academic and sports achievements
Lucknow: Students who were felicitated by chief minister
Yogi Adityanath
for excelling in academics and sports thanked the state govt for recognising their hard work.
Vatsal Agrawal, who secured 99.4% marks in class 10 ICSE exams and stood third in UP, called his felicitation by the CM "a moment of pride".
He said that major educational reforms in recent years helped him pursue his goals with more focus.
Agrawal is currently preparing for medical entrance exams. His mother also praised the CM for motivating the children and called his reforms both commendable and exemplary.
Aarav Malhotra, who scored 100% in the CBSE exams, credited the govt for the improvement in the quality of education, curriculum and co-curricular activities.
Taniska Rajput from Amroha, who scored 99.4% and secured the third rank nationally, said she would work to become an IAS officer. Expressing her happiness at being honoured by the CM, she said this initiative would inspire more young achievers across the state.
Reet Rathore from Saharanpur, who won a gold medal in high jump at the National School Games, received Rs 75,000 and expressed joy after being felicitated by the CM.

Rathore, who trains in Meerut, said that govt support is crucial for athletes. She thanked the CM and said: "Girls can achieve a lot provided they are encouraged."
Nishtha Gupta, who won two gold medals in the National School Games, also expressed happiness after being honoured. She said, "Thank you, chief minister, for the efforts to promote sports in the state. These initiatives are truly commendable."
