Vermont Eclectic Company to close locations
WOODSTOCK, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Vermont Eclectic Company staff announced their 'decision to retire and close' the business yesterday, June 2.
The company initially opened at their first location in Woodstock July 2020. On the official website, Vermont Eclectic Co. is described by staff as 'a collaborative effort with a number of Vermont artists, each of whom has created unique and custom artwork that expresses their own passion for the Green Mountain State—the land, the people, the culture, the sense of humor—all of it.'
'We love Vermont. We also love a great t-shirt. Thus was born the Vermont Eclectic Company,' the website also states.
According to this Instagram announcement, both the Stowe and Church Street, Burlington locations will remain open until there is no inventory left.
Officials from the company thanked staff, builders, shirt-printers and partners. They also thanked customers for 'being part of this wild, wonderful ride.'
This announcement follows the recent closure of The Dirstrict VT, formerly ArtsRiot, which operated out of Burlington. That establishment similarly announced their closure last week.
