List of all boss fights in the New Lies of P Overture DLC

Image via NEOWIZ The Lies of P: Overture DLC has dropped, and it's brutal, beautiful, and absolutely unrelenting. From twisted puppeteers to monstrous beasts in glass enclosures, Neowiz takes you on a nightmarish detour through the Krat City Zoo in a version of the past that's just as bleak as the future. Whether you're chasing Ergo or just trying to survive, here's a rundown of the new boss fights in the Overture DLC and what makes each of them unforgettable. 1. Tyrannical Predator Your first real taste of the DLC's chaos comes in the form of a mutated crocodile-like beast lurking in the Savanna Experience Center. It's massive, it's angry, and it'll punish anything less than perfect dodging. Think fast or be food. Drop: Full Moonstone. Lies of P Overture - Markiona, Puppeteer of Death Boss Fight (No Damage / Dodging Only) 2. Markiona, Puppeteer of Death Markiona doesn't come alone. This eerie puppeteer attacks alongside her doll, each with its own health bar and erratic patterns. It's a dance of death, with you caught in the middle. The reward? Macabre Puppeteer's Ergo and Markiona's Key. 3. Veronique, Leader of the Sweepers Next up is Veronique, who is part sheep, part berserker, all terror. Armed with a colossal hammer and relentless aggression, she's here to crush your timing and your spirit. Beat her to earn Veronique's Will and a crucial coolant console key. Two-Faced Overseer This haunting mechanical doll switches phases mid-fight between red and yellow, each bringing a new set of attacks and strategies. Precision is everything here. Conquer it, and you'll claim a Full Moonstone of the Covenant and a Bloody Cipher Machine. 5. Premetamorphic Green Hunter (Optional) Missable but terrifying, this hidden boss is all tongue, limbs, and horror-movie jumpscares. It burrows, leaps, and slaps you around like you're nothing. It's fast, it's erratic, and it drops a valuable Quartz if you can track it down. 6. Anguished Guardian of the Ruins One of the most cinematic boss entrances in the DLC, this massive chimera bursts from its egg just as you think you're safe. With four limbs and a deadly tail whip, it's a test of patience and pattern recognition. Reward: Tortured Guardian's Ergo. 7. Lumacchio, Leader of the Bastards A direct follower of Simon Manus, Lumacchio is all flair and fury. His second phase turns him into something grotesque: faster, less predictable, and devastatingly strong. You'll walk away with the Golden Snail's Mask and Tailcoat if you survive. Lies of P Overture DLC - Final Boss No Damage Fight (Legendary Stalker, NG+5) 8. Arlecchino, the Blood Artist The final boss of Overture is also the most theatrical. Arlecchino's first form is deadly enough, but it's the second act, aided by your companion Lea, is the one that brings the real challenge. He drops some of the best loot in the game, including the Monad's Rose Sword and the Leader's set. From start to finish, the Lies of P: Overture DLC throws everything at you — twisted creatures, multi-phase bosses, and relentless difficulty. But for those who dare to face it head-on, it's a bloody good time.

Marc-Andre Fleury's wife celebrates family's new chapter after NHL farewell

Marc-Andre Fleury's wife and family (Credit: Getty Image) Marc-Andre Fleury's retirement from the NHL after 21 seasons closed a significant chapter, but behind the goaltender's journey, another presence stood firm through every move; his wife, Veronique Larosee Fleury . With the NHL years now behind them, the spotlight subtly turns to her role in what comes next. Fleury's final NHL appearance came in Game 5. That too against the Golden Knights, which marked the end of a career. Also that began with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003. He later played with Vegas, Chicago, and finally Minnesota. Throughout it all, Veronique has remained a consistent part of the narrative, rarely seeking attention yet always present. Her posts didn't focus on hockey stats or team matchups. Instead, they reflected a lighthearted, human moment of a family adjusting to change. This shift isn't just professional; it's deeply personal. Life for the Fleury family has always moved from city to city, with Veronique managing home and raising their children across different hockey towns. Her recent public expressions feel like a quiet exhale after years of movement. Though hockey remains in the picture; at least for now; Veronique's tone signals a gentle pivot. One from constant relocation and packed arenas to stability and perhaps more family-centered choices. This also offered a glimpse of this in-between phase, as it wasn't just a vacation. It was a celebration of friendships, shared memories, and early birthday cheer. Veronique's presence there, as always. The presence was understated but essential. She has long played the role of steady support, avoiding the public eye while still being a central part of Fleury's career. Now, in this quiet moment, her experience mirrors what many sports families face once the lights dim; reclaiming a rhythm beyond the rink. Moving forward with grace and quiet joy As Team Canada prepares for the World Championship, Marc-Andre has one more stage ahead. Yet it's clear that for Veronique, the next phase is already unfolding. Her recent tone carries no drama. Instead, it holds perspective. This is a family that has experienced the highs and lows of professional sports and is now stepping into something new. Mother's 36-year search for kidnapped twin daughter continues

After 36 years of searching for her kidnapped daughter, Junice Adams continues to hold onto hope. Image: Facebook As the Easter weekend has passed, the 75-year-old mother of Veronique Adams continues to hold onto hope of finding her kidnapped twin daughter who was taken during the Easter period in 1989 by her nanny in Eldorado Park, Gauteng. Junice Adams together with her daughter, Veronisha, now 37, who is Veronique's twin, continues the nation-wide search for her long lost daughter, even utilising the help of local missing persons organisations such as Track n Trace and Missing Children SA. It has been 36 years since Veronique was snatched by her nanny, only identified as Beauty Mkwanazi, on March 6, 1989, while Adams was at work. The twins were 11 months old at the time and their sister, five, and was in the woman's care. The alarm was raised by Adams' brother, who had visited the residence, which he did daily, and found that Veronique was missing. The search for the little baby then begun. Adams said school children had seen the woman walking with the baby but that she had been told by police to wait 24 hours before a missing persons case could be registered. She explained that the woman had claimed she lived in Durban or Pietermaritzburg and was in the process of providing her identity. A case of kidnapping had been registered with police with two dockets opened and several DNA tests done, but to date, there has been no sign of what happened to Veronique. In 2021, Veronisha took a leap of faith and asked Missing Children SA to use her face and photograph to showcase how Veronique would look at age 33. She had previously done so when she was 24 years old. Today, the same poster continues to be circulated by the organisation and Veronisha. Adams told the Cape Argus on Tuesday that they had travelled across the country to find her child. 'The police were here about three years ago and said they would be taking my DNA and that of my daughters but we never heard from them again. 'I also inquired if there is a cold case team and was told I must stop watching these things on television and since then I have never bothered with the police again. 'The one detective received information from Durban, Chatsworth, a man there said she worked for him and he had a photograph of her. 'One Friday when he came home from the mosque, his house was ransacked. 'He had a photograph of her and that was when the docket disappeared. 'Another family from Lenasia South said she worked for them and that she also gave the story about her identification, that she will go home and fetch it. 'That photograph could never be put out publicly and to me it seemed something was wrong. 'I even went to Botswana. A lady that worked at the holiday inn said they were schooling with a girl that looked like Veronique. 'We went and blood tests for DNA were taken and after a couple of weeks, I waited for the results. After 36 years of searching for her kidnapped daughter, Junice Adams continues to hold onto hope. Image: Facebook 'I kept calling and this officer was stationed in Soweto and I was told he was not in. 'A family friend went to inquire and found that a week after we came from Botswana, the police officer died in a car crash which made me think that something is wrong.' Adams said she will never give up her quest to find her child. 'I am 75-years-old now and I will do anything to find my daughter.' Veronisha said they had received information about women fitting her description but that it was not positive. 'We have had a few leads due to the posters and articles shared on social media but nothing solid,' she said. 'People have shared photographs of people they thought looked like my sister or a lookalike but not solid leads.' Bianca van Aswegen of Missing Children SA said they would continue to share information about such cases. 'There are many cold cases of children that are still missing, some even dating back as far as the 1980's, but as an organisation we never give up on any of our cases, and make sure everything possible is being done to reunite a family or give the family the closure they so desperately need.' Chaz Thomas of Track n Trace Missing Persons confirmed they also assisted the family and that they had received information about five potential women who fitted the physical description of Veronique but that DNA testing was yet to be conducted. After 36 years of searching for her kidnapped daughter, Junice Adams continues to hold onto hope. With the help of local organisations, she and her daughter Veronisha are determined to uncover the truth behind Veronique's disappearance during Easter 1989. Prof Tim Spector: The week-night meals I cook on repeat

At the end of the working day, you'll find me poking around in the fridge and larder, coming out with some vegetables and tins of legumes to whip up a quick and healthy dinner. In our household, I often do the cooking but my wife, Veronique, a dermatologist, also cooks some nights – it depends on who has been more busy with work. The basis of all of our meals is some fresh vegetables. We get organic vegetable box deliveries from Riverford each week. Very often, we use the produce to make recipes from my cookbook, Food for Life, adapting as necessary, depending on what we have at home. We rarely do takeaways – ordering one feels like a bit of a defeat and they're always disappointing. If we're not cooking, we're more likely to walk around the corner to a local restaurant in Islington, north London, where we're spoiled for choice. If you're relying on takeaways and ready meals too often, it's worth learning how to make a meal in 15 minutes. Once you've got a few under your belt, you realise it's not too much hassle, you will enjoy cooking more and feel like you've got several go-tos that you can do with your eyes closed. I promise you'll have a better experience eating them than you will from a takeaway that might leave you feeling a bit sick and self-loathing. We all get into ruts and it's important to switch things up and try different foods. Try some new recipes and see what excites you. Monday: Roasted aubergine traybake I like to start my week off by cooking this meal is really healthy and colourful. As well as aubergine, it's got chickpeas, tomatoes, peppers and halloumi – a cheese eaten more in Britain than anywhere else in the world, which adds extra protein to the dish and is a nice contrast to the vegetables. Even without following this recipe to the letter, you can follow the principles of it by just chopping up whatever vegetables you have at home and roasting with some chickpeas and halloumi as a quick and easy dinner. Tuesday: Smashed peas on toast Almost all of us will have some peas in the freezer, making this a recipe that's perfect for when you need something quick and nutritious, when you don't have much in the fridge. Frozen peas are a surprisingly great source of vitamin C and protein, making them an easy win for your gut health. The beauty of this dish lies in its versatility – you can stick with the smashed peas as they are, or use them as a base for all sorts of toppings. I like to spread them on toast and add mixed seeds, feta cheese or a spoonful of kimchi or sauerkraut on top. It's a simple way to boost your intake of fermented foods, which are great for the gut microbiome. Wednesday: Creamy kale pasta You can still have luxurious comfort food – that would normally be pretty unhealthy and give you a big blood sugar spike – by making a healthy sauce to go with your pasta. In this recipe, you whizz up cannellini beans, kale and garlic to create a bright green, creamy sauce (essentially a healthy alternative to a bechamel), that's super nutritious and will fill you up more than the traditional version. A few years ago, I wouldn't have thought of using a blender to make a pasta sauce but it's something I rediscovered while writing my book. It's great for mixing up texture and livening up meals. Thursday: Broccoli and walnut orecchiette Pasta is an excellent way to enjoy both flavour and texture, and this dish is a perfect example of how combining the right ingredients can keep your blood sugar levels stable. The walnuts bring in healthy fats, while the broccoli adds a fibre boost, both of which help to moderate your blood sugar response. It's simple, wholesome cooking at its best – no fuss, just plenty of plants and fibre. It's a go-to in our house for a satisfying, comforting meal that delivers real nutritional benefits. Friday: Cottage cheese bowl with egg, veg and toast This recipe is a fantastic way to fuel your body with protein, healthy fats and fibre. The cottage cheese and eggs provide high-quality protein, while the variety of vegetables adds a wealth of nutrients and fibre to support a healthy gut. It's a well-rounded, nutrient-dense meal that's really easy to make and incredibly satisfying to eat. I particularly like a toasted slice of sourdough to mop up all the delicious flavours in the bowl, and love that it's super quick to throw together and very versatile – just add any leftover vegetables you need to use up. My must-have ingredients for cooking at home Make sure your larder is up to date. I've always got plenty of beans and legumes (every type possible), as well as cans of lentils, tinned tomatoes, whole grain pasta, eggs, olive oil, a jar of miso and some ferments. There's a lot you can do with frozen food, so make use of your freezer – stocking up on frozen berries for your breakfast and vegetables to turn into quick sides and be whizzed up for a quick soup. I'd encourage people to move away from rice, especially white rice, and stock up on some other grains like bulgar wheat, pearl barley and quinoa. They're much more substantial and also tastier. I also buy packets of mixed grains that you can simply microwave and heat up in a minute or two, or you can cook the dried grain from scratch in around 10 minutes. These are things that, after a hard day's work, make it easier to come home and make a meal in a hurry, without having to go out and buy fresh ingredients.
