Florida judge goes against mom with OnlyFans account who sued school district over volunteer ban
ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — A Florida judge has ruled in favor of a school district after a mother with an OnlyFans account filed a lawsuit after being banned from volunteering at her child's elementary school. Victoria Triece, 31, whose child attended Sand Lake Elementary School in 2021, filed the complaint in May 2023, after the school's principal said she was no longer welcome to volunteer with their ADDitions program. 70-year-old man angry with housemate fatally shoots him: deputies The ban came after the principal received an anonymous email containing Triece's sexually explicit images on the adult platform. 'Nobody has the right to judge what other people do for a living. I feel judged, and so isolated,' Triece told NBC affiliate WESH in 2021. Court documents filed on Jan. 29 show that the judge has sided with Orange County schools, despite the mom arguing that her privacy was violated, claiming the district disclosed her images to staff and employees who didn't need that information. 'I wanted to still be involved. I went through a crazy breakup. I wanted to still go to school with them and be with them 24/7 and be as involved in their lives as I could be without being away from them. They're everything to me.' However, the court found the school district is entitled to summary judgment, given that they don't have to guarantee any parents the right to volunteer in their ADDitions program. A circuit judge in Orange County has sided with Orange County Public Schools after a mother of two was 'banned' from any school activities after appearing on the adult site OnlyFans. In 2021, Victoria Triece, who had been volunteering at her children's elementary school, was told she was banned from participating in any activities where she would have access to children. In July of 2021, the elementary school principal received an anonymous email from a parent complaining about Triece's work on the site OnlyFans and other social media. In 2023, Triece filed a lawsuit against Orange County Public Schools to get the ban lifted and to be reinstated as a volunteer at the school. The backstory In 2021, Victoria Triece told FOX 35 that she had been banned from volunteering at her child's school after posting pictures on an adults-only social site, called OnlyFans. Triece, a mother of two, stated that Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) had banned her from the ADDitions volunteer program at Sand Lake Elementary. COUNT I - "Plaintiff asks the Court to declare that she has a due process right to volunteer in the ADDitions Program and to appeal the decision to remove her from the program." COUNT II - "Plaintiff alleges that OCPS has violated her constitutional right to privacy under the Florida Constitution, by not allowing her to volunteer in the school, and she seeks a permanent injunction enjoining OCPS from enforcing that decision." COUNT III - "Plaintiff seeks tort damages from OCPS alleging that OCPS disclosed Plaintiff's images to OCPS staff and employees who were not in need of the information." COUNT IV - "Plaintiff seeks statutory damages from OCPS alleging that OCPS violated Florida Statute § 748.049, by producing Plaintiff's images in response to Chapter 119 public records requests received by OCPS." Mom Loses Lawsuit Against School District Which Banned Her from Volunteering After Learning She Works on OnlyFans
A Florida court ruled against a mother who sued her local school district, which she alleged banned her from volunteering at her son's school after administrators learned she had an OnlyFans account. In 2023, Victoria Triece sued Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) for $1 million after the district allegedly told her two years prior that she could no longer volunteer at Sand Lake Elementary School in Orlando, where her children, then ages 5 and 10, were students. As PEOPLE previously reported, the ban came after a parent sent an anonymous email to the principal about Triece's account on the adult website, along with two NSFW pictures of the mother of two. 'It has come to several parents at Sand Lake Elementary that one of the room mothers that spends time at the school is publically (sic) posting pornography thru various sources on the internet,' the email read, WFTV reported. 'This woman is constantly around our children and her public profiles are well known. This is not the content or subject matter that our children need to be exposed to." The images of Triece are accessible only with a paid principal shared the email with her boss, including the images, Triece claimed, arguing that this violated her right to privacy. She also sued the district for allegedly violating her right to free speech and also alleged 'sexual cyber harassment' for sharing pictures from her account with media outlets. Her attorney, Mark NeJame, contended at a 2023 press conference that what she does "in our off time, it's not illegal," but she had been subjected to "morality police." Despite this, on Jan. 29, a Florida judge ruled against her, saying Triece does not have the 'right' to volunteer at the school, per court documents reviewed by PEOPLE. The volunteer program's policy 'does not include any language that confers any right or benefit upon an individual to participate in the program, to remain in the program, or to appeal a removal decision,' the judge wrote in his opinion. As for Triece's claim that the district violated her privacy by sharing the images, the judge said that the images are considered public record and were shared between administrators trying to resolve an issue in the district that had been brought to their attention, the documents state. The district did not commit cyberstalking, either, the judge said. He said the district had to send the pictures to media outlets to satisfy public records requests. A Florida mom who filed a lawsuit after her OnlyFans involvement prevented her from volunteering at her children's school, has had her complaint dismissed by a judge. Victoria Triece, whose child attended Sand Lake Elementary School, in Orange County, said she felt humiliated, 'judged and so isolated' after her sexually explicit pictures were anonymously leaked to the school principal in July 2021 – an exposure that led to her removal from the school's volunteer program. But nearly four years on, and after a two-year legal battle, Triece has lost her fight for reinstatement as a volunteer with Orange County Public Schools as well as her appeal for monetary damages she sought for privacy infringement. The original email that led to the mother being removed from a school volunteer problem, read: 'It has come to several parents at Sand Lake Elementary that one of the room mothers that spends time at the school is publically posting pornography thru various sources on the internet. 'This woman is constantly around our children and her public profiles are well known. This is not the content or subject matter that our children need to be exposed to. Please consider this an attempt to rectify the situation before other measures are taken. 'The mothers [sic] name is Victoria Triece but her online presence is Victoria Snooks. Her social media is widely recognizable and contains graphic content. I am posting several images for reference. Please let us know what course of action will be taken to keep this kind of material away from our children.' Triece, 30, had volunteered for the school's ADDitions Program but after Principal Katie Phillips received the critical email, the school reviewed her situation and decided to axe her on October 13 2021. The mom sued, alleging she was wrongfully dismissed as a volunteer and that her images were published and shared internally within the school to 'demean and belittle her'. The images were subsequently provided to the media after public access requests. 'Nobody has the right to judge what other people do for a living. I feel judged, and so isolated,' WESH reported the mother as saying. But a judge has now ruled that parents do not have a right to volunteer, and pointed out that Triece did not appeal the decision with the school district itself. Her OnlyFans images were also public record, Judge Brian Sandor added in his 22-page ruling that sided with the school.
