UPSC civil services prelims exam concludes peacefully across districts

Visakhapatnam : The UPSC civil services prelims examination was conducted peacefully across various districts, including Visakhapatnam and NTR district, on Sunday. In Visakhapatnam, nearly 8,000 candidates appeared for the exam at 19 centers, which was held in two sessions: from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. According to the aspirants, both papers were of moderate difficulty, with some candidates mentioning that the CSAT paper took more time due to an increase in comprehension-based questions. District collector MN Harendhira Prasad visited the exam centers at Vignan Engineering College in Duvvada and Kendriya Vidyalaya in Akkayyapalem to review the smooth conduct of the exams. He inspected the basic facilities being provided to the candidates, including security, supervision, drinking water, rest areas, and signboards at the centers. The collector said that the exams were conducted peacefully and in accordance with the regulations. In NTR district, the prelims exam concluded on a peaceful note with 5,716 and 5,665 candidates in attendance for paper 1 and paper 2 across 25 examination centers. NTR district collector Dr. G.
