KOLHAPUR: A 75-year-old woman from Pachgaon village in 's Kolhapur district succumbed to Covid-19 on Sunday at the CPR Hospital after four days of treatment. Hospital authorities confirmed that the patient had diabetes and died of complications arising from Covid. Already, five patients with jaundice have been located in the survey of 145 houses in the Rajarampuri and Shahunagar areas. Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) chief health Officer Dr Vijay Patil said, "A survey of 145 houses was conducted in the affected area by the epidemiology department, in which 595 people were surveyed, and 10 water samples taken for testing."
