Sioux City students treated to wings and pizza thanks to art project
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A class at Loess Hill Elementary got a taste of 'Bob Roe's Point After' food thanks to one of their classmates.
For an early brunch, the second-graders dinned on cheese and pepperoni pizza, french fries, and even wings.
The delicious food comes as a celebration for Vincent Gomez, who received an honorable mention for his papier-mâché sculpture in the 2025 ArtWorks Show, where he sculpted Bob Roe's chicken and fries.

Gomez has family that works at Bob Roe's which he says influenced him to make the sculpture.
'Because Bob Roe's is my favorite, because I like the wings and the fries, and they're really good,' said Vincent Gomez, a second grade student at Loess Hills Computer Programming Elementary School.
The student's art teacher, Ashley Clasby, said the students were excited to chow down on some Bob Roe's.
