Third Ward wine bar, shop closes after 17 years
While the doors to Vino Third Ward are locked, the furniture and signs still remained earlier this week. The wine bar and shop at 219 E. Erie St. recently closed.
Vino Third Ward first opened in 2008, and Brendan Moore became the owner in December 2024. Its liquor license was renewed Feb. 19, 2025.
Moore also owned Twisted Vine Wine shop and bar in Pewaukee, which announced in a June 2 Facebook post that it had closed.
Vino Third Ward occupied a ground-floor unit at a building home to multiple businesses. Grace Coffee Company, The Starling, SPIRE Fitness are also on the ground floor.
The Vino Third Ward property is available for leasing, according to a Collier listing.
The property is priced at $25 per square feet, and the listing said there's 1,600 square feet.
River Renaissance Condos are also in the building and have 80 residential units.
