Sales rise 7.53% to Rs 425.85 crore Net profit of Visaka Industries rose 1166.96% to Rs 14.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 as against Rs 1.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2024. Sales rose 7.53% to Rs 425.85 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 as against Rs 396.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2024. For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 3.01 crore in the year ended March 2025 as against net profit of Rs 0.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2024. Sales rose 1.09% to Rs 1543.28 crore in the year ended March 2025 as against Rs 1526.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2024. Rahul Gandhi unveils 2 MW integrated PV ATUM solar roof of Visaka in Rae Bareli

A 2 MW Integrated PV ATUM solar roof of Visaka Industries in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, was inaugurated by the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday. Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Gandhi, who is the Member of Parliament from Rae Bareli, underscored the critical role of renewable energy for ensuring a sustainable and equitable future. Commending Visaka for its innovation and commitment to driving India's green transition, he appreciated ATUM initiatives for empowering communities, fostering rural development and reducing India's carbon footprint, the company said in a release. Chennur, Telangana MLA G. Vivek, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institutions correspondent Saroja Gaddam and Peddapalli MP and Visaka Industries JMD Vamsi Gaddam participated in the programme. Besides inauguration of the first such PV solar roof of the company, the programme witnessed launch of solar-powered universal EV charging station ATUM Charge; and electric bike integrated within a solar roof-charging ecosystem ATUM E-Bikes as well as distribution of ATUM-powered solar pushcarts to rural entrepreneurs. An all-weather-resistant solution, the ATUM solar roof combines durable roofing with high-efficiency energy generation, eliminating the need for separate solar panel installations.

Rahul Gandhi begins Raebareli-Amethi visit, hands over solar-powered carts to underprivileged

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi handed over solar-powered carts to the underprivileged in Raebareli as he kickstarted a two-day visit to his Lok Sabha constituency of Rae Bareli and the adjoining Amethi. He is scheduled to visit Amethi on Wednesday. The leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha landed at the Lucknow airport in the morning to a grand welcome by state Congress chief Ajay Rai, Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma and other leaders. He then travelled to Rae Bareli by road. In Rae Bareli, Gandhi inaugurated a 2 MW solar roof plant and electric charging station at Visaka Industries. He also handed over around a dozen solar-powered carts donated by an NGO to the underprivileged at the occasion. 'He (Rahul Gandhi) has a long-standing relationship with Uttar Pradesh. The Gandhis have familial ties with the Raebareli-Amethi region,' Rai told PTI. Gandhi's visit comes within days of the Congress' 'Samvidhan Bachao' (Save Constitution) rally in the Basti. At the rally, party leaders had claimed that the Constitution was under threat under the BJP -led governments at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh.
