A resident and her dog were on the GeoTime Trail in Vista Hills when they came face-to-face with a coyote and her pups. The incident happened just before noon on Tuesday. No on was hurt. Pet owners are urged to keep their dog on a leash while walking on local trails. City staff are also monitoring the GeoTime Trail. If a coyote den is found nearby, the city said that section will be shut down until the coyotes leave the area. Guelph sighting A coyote was also seen at the University of Guelph on the evening of May 26. According to a post on the school's website, the animal was spotted on the west side of University Centre near the food delivery area. More to come.
