Workshop on intellectual property rights law in Belagavi
A workshop on Intellectual Property Rights law was organised at KLS institute of Management Education and Research in Belagavi on Tuesday.
Resource persons spoke on 'Empowering Innovations: One Day Workshop on Intellectual Property Right (IPR)'.
IP Attorney, Advocates and Solicitors, Bengaluru, Vivek Ananad Sagar was the chief guest. He emphasised on the relevance of IPR procedures and their significance.
HOD, Jain Institute of Technology, Santosh M. Nejakar explained various issues like filing procedures for patents and trademarks.
Faculty member at RL Law College Belagavi Satish Anikhindi conducted a session on Trade Marks and geographical recognitions for products and services.
Chairman, College Governing Council, R.S. Mutalik presided over the function. He stressed on the vital role of innovations and providing their commercial value.
Director KLS IMER Arif Shaikh welcomed the gathering. Praveen Kulkarni and Ameet V. Kulkarni coordinated the event. Faculty members, staff and students participated.
