CUSB to start PG diploma in pharmacy from current session
Patna: The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has accorded its approval to the postgraduate diploma course in pharmacy at the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) from the current academic session (2025-26).

CUSB's pharmacy department head Vivek Dave said the department had already been running M Pharma and Ph D courses under the School of Health Sciences quite successfully. Now, with the approval of PCI, it will also start two-year PG diploma course from the current session.
The dean of the school of health sciences at CUSB, Subrat Kumar Bhattamisra, said that there would be a total of 60 seats in the diploma in pharmacy course, and admission to this new course would be made through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) 2025.
Expressing his pleasure at the PCI's approval of the new pharmacy course to be launched this year, CUSB vice-chancellor K N Singh pointed out that this course would directly benefit a large section of the society as it would help the country achieve its goal of a developed nation by the year 2047. The university has already introduced a number of new innovative courses in the larger interest of the local youth as well as the society, he added.
