Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. issued a recall for more than 60,000 Volkswagen and Audi vehicles over a gear issue.

2023-2023 Mercedes-Benz S 580e 4MATIC

Mercedes-Benz has determined that, on the above-named models, the brake hose on the front axle might leak over time with use in hot and humid environments.

This could cause the brake fluid to leak, which might lead to reduced braking performance.
Timeline
Dealers will be notified of the recall on March 3, 2025. Owners will be notified of the campaign before April 25, 2025.

An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will replace the brake hoses on the front axle of the affected vehicles.
