WinMan win national volleyball championships

Winnipeg The WinMan Volleyball Club had a successful weekend May 9 to 11, with two teams taking home first place finishes. The WinMan Bounce 14U boys team went undefeated to capture the 14U boys gold medal at the Volleyball Canada National Championships held at RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg, defeating the Ontario provincial champions Durham Attack Extreme 2-1 with scores of 14-25, 25-13, 15-13. In Edmonton, Alta., the WinMan Wild captured Volleyball Canada's 15 boys national championship with a convincing victory in the final against defending national champions, and the top seeded team in the tournament, the Pakmen Gold from Mississauga, Ont.
