Stranger Things 5 Premiere Date Announced

Stranger Things' final season is coming soon! Find out the release dates below. Stranger Things fans, the wait is almost over! Netflix just dropped some exciting news about the fifth and final season of the hit show. And yes, it's coming soon! On Sunday, Netflix shared a fun two-minute video on their YouTube channel giving us a sneak peek of what's in store. The best part? We now know exactly when we can binge the new episodes in India. Here's the plan: Volume 1 hits your screens on November 27 at 5:30 am. Volume 2 will drop exactly a month later, on December 26 at 5:30 am. And to wrap up the series, Volume 3 arrives on January 1, 2026, again at 5:30 am. Sharing the promo, Netflix captioned it, 'The fight isn't over yet. Get ready for the epic series finale of Stranger Things. Volume 1, November 26, 5pm PT*, Volume 2, Christmas, 5pm PT*. The Finale, New Year's Eve, 5pm PT*. Releasing worldwide all at once, date may vary based on your local timezone. #TUDUM." In the promo, you can see the cast — Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, and Noah Schnapp — facing their fears as they get ready to fight the scary stuff in the Upside Down. Back in November 2024, Netflix shared the episode titles for season five. They are: The Crawl, The Vanishing of (they're keeping this one a secret for now), The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape From Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up. Ross Duffer had earlier talked about the final episodes to Hollywood Reporter, saying, 'We spent a full year filming this season. By the end, we'd captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It's like eight blockbuster movies. It's pretty insane." Stranger Things was created by the Duffer Brothers and first hit Netflix back in 2016. Season 2 came out in 2017, Season 3 in 2019, and Season 4 was split into two parts — it dropped in May and July 2022. The show has a huge and amazing cast, including David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Maya Hawke.
