Local non-profit Sunshine Division outlines importance of volunteerism
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland-based non-profit Sunshine Division works hard year-round to provide their vital services to our local community as food prices continue to remain high. However, the charity wouldn't be able to provide immediate food relief to local families in need without the help of volunteers. The Sunshine Division is among the 100+ non-profits taking part in The Standard's Volunteer Expo happening September 4th at Pioneer Courthouse Square. The organization's executive director Kyle Camberg joined us on AM Extra to tell us more about their mission and why volunteers are so important to their cause. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
